There’s nothing like being a knowledgeable person about something, doing something that’s [almost] second nature, and then realizing that you made a colossal mistake.
I did that.
Today.
I had a main hosting account under one domain, I changed it to another domain.
Then I deleted the files from the now-old domain.
The new domain didn’t copy those files for itself, it was using those files.
SO I lost everything.
BUT, I knew how to fix it and I only lost a couple of rather unimportant posts, but it’s annoying, nonetheless.
MAKE A CURRENT BACKUP BEFORE YOU MAKE A MAJOR CHANGE!!
Everyone, no matter how good they are at something, makes mistakes.
The best share the mistakes they made and learned from

I really like the short yet concise content of this post. It teaches a valuable lesson, one I wish that I understood better. Perhaps in time my understanding may increase.
I’m glad that I didn’t have to ask for your help this past week. It seems that you had plenty to do for your own business without expending energy on mine.
It’s easier for me to invest in yours than to invest in mine. Whenever you need help, I’ll help if I can.
