I was assigned my 100 shares of NOK so I did the following:
Sold one NOK 31 JUL 26 14 CALL
Sold two NOK 2 JUL 26 11.5 PUTs
Over the weekend I had opened a ROTH and moved my profit into it.
My plan for the ROTH is to use nothing more risky than the wheel strategy in it in addition to reducing my taxes.
However, with the 300 shares of stock that I own in my regular account, my amount of available cash to do anything else is greatly reduced.
I wrestled with doing that for some time, but I really want to get started on building up a better retirement. I’m 58 and I don’t want to work into my 70s unless I find something I absolutely love to do.
So Wednesday night I placed 4 orders for NOK 13 puts expiring Thursday (it was a short week).
2 for in one account and 2 in a different account, the price jumped so I got all four at a much better premium.
At the end of the week, my NOK puts were assigned.
